If necessary, recompile the kernel with
make dep && make bzImage&& make modules && make modules_install |
Copy /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/bzImage and /usr/src/linux/System.map to /boot, edit /etc/lilo.conf appropriately and run lilo.
