Talloc provides a hierarchical, reference counted memory pool system with destructors. It is the core memory allocator used in Samba.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-8.4 platform.

Install Talloc by running the following commands:
sed -i s:../../buildtools/bin/waf:buildtools/bin/waf: Makefile && ./configure --prefix=/usr && make
To check the results, issue make check.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
sed -i s:[...] Makefile: This command fixes a packaging problem introduced with this version of Talloc.
--extra-python=PYTHON
: This switch
enables building selected libraries for the specified additional
version of Python (example: --extra-python=/usr/bin/python2
).
