Introduction to GNOME Logs

The GNOME Logs package contains a log viewer for the systemd journal.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-8.1 platform.

desktop-file-utils-0.23 (for the test suite), and docbook-xml-4.5, docbook-xsl-1.79.1, libxslt-1.1.29 (to build manual pages), appstream-glib, and dogtail

Installation of GNOME Logs

Install GNOME Logs by running the following commands: 

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

make install
