Introduction to pcmanfm-qt

The pcmanfm-qt is a file manager and desktop icon manager (Qt port of pcmanfm and libfm).

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-8.0 platform.

liblxqt-0.11.1, libfm-qt-0.11.2, and lxmenu-data-0.1.5

Recommended

oxygen-icons5-5.31.0 or another icon theme (depending on your choice, some icons will be missing in several places)

Optional

git-2.11.1 (to download translation files) or lxqt-l10n-0.11.2 (to add localization files)

Installation of pcmanfm-qt

Install pcmanfm-qt by running the following commands: 

mkdir -v build &&
cd       build &&

cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release          \
      -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$LXQT_PREFIX \
      -DPULL_TRANSLATIONS=no              \
      -DCMAKE_INSTALL_LIBDIR=lib          \
      ..       &&

make

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

make install

Command Explanations

-DPULL_TRANSLATIONS=no: Removes the need for git-2.11.1, which would otherwise be requested to download the translation files.
